Your customer app receives a push notification when an order moves forward and when you send a campaign. This page says what the app does and where you control the rest.

What the app does

It registers the phone for pushes. This happens for signed-in customers and also for people who installed the app but have not signed up. That is why you can send a campaign to installs that never registered.
It keeps a notifications list. A signed-in customer sees the notifications sent to them for your shop and can mark them as read.

What only the platform can set up

The app's push service and its keys are not in your settings, and order pushes are switched on for all shops by the platform. You have no switch that turns push on.

If your shop has an app and customers get no pushes at all, ask support to check the push set-up.
