Record that you gave back the balance owed on an order, after refunding it outside the panel.
Refund closes the Balance to refund line on an order. It is a record, not a payment.
Open the order. The yellow box shows Balance to refund and the amount you owe the customer.
Refund that amount outside the panel. For a card payment, find the payment in your gateway dashboard; Details beside Paid Online : gives you the Reference ID.
When the wallet is on for your shop, Refund to wallet sits beside Refund. It adds the amount to the customer's wallet instead. Use one or the other, not both. See Refund to the wallet.
