Before you start
Per-location delivery zones and order routing are included from the Scale plan, with more than one active location.

Who can use this
Shop owner
With more than one location, each delivery order goes to an open location that serves the delivery address and has every item in stock. An address no location serves goes to the default location. Pickup orders go to the store the customer collects from.
The Order routing card on the Locations tab sets the finer rules. Only the owner can change it.
The four choices
Setting
Choices
1. When several locations can deliver
By priority (the area priority, then the location priority); The nearest location to the customer; The location with the most stock
2. When no location has everything
Use the location with the most, and tell the customer what is short; Send it to the default location
3. Stock shown in sales channel feeds
All locations together; The default location only. Google, Meta, TikTok and Snapchat show a product in stock from this. Your website shows each customer the stock of the locations that serve them
4. When you change an order's address and another location delivers there
Suggest moving it (the order page offers Move order); Move it there by itself; Keep it where it is
Select Save. The page confirms with Order routing saved.
When an order moves by itself
With Move it there by itself, an order only moves while nobody has started on it, no rider or courier is booked, and the other location is open at its delivery time and has every item. Otherwise the move is suggested instead. An address no location delivers to is refused. A paid order's delivery charge is never raised.
Moving one order by hand
Staff can move an order to another location from the order page until a picker starts on it. The owner and Shop Managers can do this; a team member assigned to some locations can move orders only to their own locations.
After a move, the order page says which location the order now goes out from. Its delivery charge is recalculated from there. If the new charge is higher and the customer has already paid, the old charge is kept and noted in the order activity.
The card shows: "Per-location delivery zones and order routing are not included in your plan: delivery orders go to your default location, and pickup orders to the store the customer chose. Upgrade your plan (Plan & billing) to use them."
