When approval is on, new customers wait until you approve them before they can sign in and order.
With customer approval on, a new customer cannot sign in or order at your shop until you approve them. It suits shops that sell only to people they know, such as trade customers.
A customer who is still waiting is refused at sign-in. The website says "Your account is waiting for this shop to approve it. You will be able to order once it does." The app answers "Profile Not Approved".
Every customer card shows Approved or Waiting for approval.
The top of the list shows how many are "waiting for approval". Select it to list only those.
The filter has Approved and Not Approved.
The shop owner also gets a Filter By menu and a Reset button at the top.
On Customers › Customers, select the "waiting for approval" count, or choose Not Approved in the filter.
Select Approve on the customer's card. The panel asks "Approve name? They can then order from your shop." Confirm.
You see "Customer approved" and the badge changes to Approved. The panel does not message the customer, so tell them yourself.
