Load a sample store with products, customers and orders, and know what is real and what is simulated while it is there.
A demo store fills your panel with samples so you can try orders, delivery, reports and your website before adding anything of your own. You remove it with one click.
Select Explore a demo store or Choose a demo store. See Choose how to start for where these buttons are.
A dialog, "Building your demo store…", shows the progress. The top bar shows "Loading demo…" meanwhile. If it fails, the dialog gives the reason and a Try again button.
Your demo store is ready opens once. It offers Open your website (or Preview your website when nothing is published), links to the sample orders, products, delivery, coupons and reports, and OK, let me explore.
All panel staff see these. Only the shop owner and Shop Managers can load or remove the demo.
| Area | In a demo |
|---|---|
| Sample orders | You can accept, prepare, assign and deliver them. The order page says "Demo order — actions work, but no message, invoice or payment is sent." |
| Courier booking | Refused for a sample order: "Demo order — no shipment is booked with a courier." |
| Your website | Checkout offers pay-on-delivery only. Another method is refused with "This is a demo store — only cash on delivery is available." |
| Your settings | What the demo needs, such as a theme, cash on delivery and local delivery, is switched on and restored when you remove the demo |
