Create the sets of delivery times customers choose from, and pick the default one.
A slot group holds the delivery times you offer, like "Today, 6 PM to 8 PM". Most shops need one group, set as the default.
Go to Delivery › Delivery Slot Groups and select Add slot group. On an empty page the button is Create your first slot group.
Enter Group name, for example "Standard delivery". Only you see this name.
Fill in Order at least … minutes before a slot starts, or use a preset: 30 min, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 1 day. Shop default clears the field so the group follows Order Before Time Slot (in minutes) from Delivery Settings. The line below the field gives a worked example.
Location is shown when your shop has more than one location. Leave it on Whole shop (every location without its own slots), or choose a location. Orders sent from that location are then offered these slots, and each slot's order limit counts only that location's orders.
Select Create group, then open Add slots. See Delivery slots.
Customers see the default group's slots. With delivery by places, a delivery zone can use another group.
Select Make default on a group to change it. The default group always belongs to the whole shop, and it cannot be deleted. Make another group the default first.
If no group is the default, the page warns "No default group yet." Customers then see no slots, except in a zone with its own group.
