How the spend is measured
The spend is the value of the lines selected in 3. Which products. With Every product that is the whole cart.
It is measured after product-level offers. A product discount can therefore drop a cart below a tier.
The tier's discount is taken off those same lines.
This differs from Minimum order value in card 4, which looks at the whole cart before any discount.
After the order is placed
If staff remove items from a placed order, it keeps the tier it reached when it was placed. The discount is recalculated at that tier on the items that remain.
One rule or several?
Use one tiered rule instead of several order discounts with different minimums. With separate rules, more than one could apply to a large cart unless you make them exclusive.
