Pay back an inspected return to the wallet, the original payment or by hand, and know exactly what moves.
A return can be refunded once it is Inspected. The amount comes from the inspection; you choose only how the money goes back.
The box under the Items table shows:
| Line | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Items | The accepted quantities at the price paid, after each item's share of the order's discounts |
| Delivery charge (whole order back, shop fault) | The order's delivery charge, added once when the whole order comes back for a * reason and your settings allow it |
| Return shipping fee | Your fee, as quoted when the return was requested. Taken off while How it comes back reads Courier pickup or Our delivery agent collects it |
| Refund due | What you will refund |
The refund never exceeds what the customer paid for the order, less what its other returns already refunded. When it is capped, the box says Limited to what is left refundable on the order and the amount.
| Method | What happens |
|---|---|
| Customer wallet | The amount is added to the customer's wallet in your shop. Needs the wallet on and an order with a customer account |
| Original payment method | The refund is sent through the payment gateway. Offered only for orders paid with Tabby or Tamara |
| Manual (bank transfer / cash) | No money moves. You give it back yourself and record it |
Only the methods allowed in Refund Methods in your settings are listed. If none fits the order, the form says No refund method is available for this order (Returns settings).
Refunding an exchange instead cancels the replacement order first. See Exchanges.
