Order Items Report

One row per product line of each order, for packing lists and item-level checks.

Who can use this

The Order Items Report lists every product line of the orders placed in a date range.

Open Reports › Order items. For the shared controls, see Detailed reports.

Filters

Filter	Notes
Date Range	Opens on today
Order Statuses	Opens with Order Placed and Preparing Order selected, which gives you the items still to prepare
Fulfilment location	Shops with several locations

Columns

Column	Meaning
#	Row number
Order Id, Order Date	The order and the day it was placed
Delivery Date	The scheduled delivery date, if any
Customer Name, Customer ID	The customer and your customer ID for them
Barcode, Product	The item
Quantity	Units ordered
Single Unit Value, Unit	The pack size and unit, for example 500 and g
Total	The line's price as charged on the order
Status	The order's status
Created On, Modified On, Modified Status	When the order was placed, when it was last modified, and Yes if it was modified
Type	Goods, or Gift card for a gift-card sale

What is left out

Lines removed from an order while it was modified.
Unfinished checkouts.

An order with three products gives three rows. Total Count counts orders, and each page holds the lines of 20 orders, so a page can be longer than 20 rows.

Tips

For a pick list of today's open orders, keep the default filters and select Csv.
For units sold per product, use the Products Report instead. It adds the lines up for you.
For the order's delivery charge, tax and total next to the lines, use the Tally Report.

The file is named "Order Item Report - " followed by the date range.
