Create a main category or a sub-category, with its pictures, tax, add-ons, return rule and search wording.
A category needs only a name. Everything else on the form is optional.
On Catalogue › Categories, select Add category. To edit, select Edit on a category card.
Enter the name in the Details card. With more than one language enabled there is a field per language.

Image is a landscape picture, for example 324 × 237 px, shown on category tiles. Icon is a small square symbol shown in menus. Both accept JPG, PNG, GIF or WebP.
In Search engines, enter a Search title, a Search description and a Share image of 1200 × 630 px. Leave them blank to use your shop's defaults; without a share image, the category image is used.
Select Create category, or Save changes when editing.
