Shipping and courier settings

Every field in the Shipping, Units, Courier deliveries and Courier updates to customers blocks of the Delivery Settings tab.

Before you start

The Shipping section appears only when shipping is switched on for your shop. Turn on Courier shipping under Shop › Features, or ask support if that page says to contact support.

Who can use this

Shop owner

The Shipping section of the tab holds four blocks. Its heading links to Shipping zones & rates and Couriers. For the tasks behind these fields, see Shipping and couriers.

Shipping

Shown only while Delivery Area is By Shipping Zones.

Field	What it does	Default
Ship To Countries	Countries this shop ships to. Empty means the shop country only. Saving a zone adds its countries	Empty
Show Delivery Estimate	Shows the estimated delivery time, for example 3–5 days, next to each shipping option at checkout	On
Fill Address From Map Pin	When the app sends only a map pin, fills the country, state and postcode from it so shipping rates can be found	On

Units

Default Product Weight	Weight used for shipping when a product has none. Blank means 0	Blank
Existing weights	Appears when you change the weight unit and weights are already stored. Choose to convert the stored numbers or keep them. The save is refused until you choose	None

Courier deliveries

Field	What it does	Options and default
Order Is Delivered When	For an order in several parcels: when the order becomes Delivered	Every parcel delivered (recommended) (default), The first parcel is delivered
When A Courier Delivers	Whether a courier delivery completes the order like your own delivery, recording shop earnings, referral rewards and wallet settlement, or only changes the status	Complete like own delivery — records earnings & rewards (recommended) (default), Only change the status to Delivered
When A Return Reaches You	What happens when a returned parcel (RTO) reaches you	Keep the order open for me to decide (recommended) (default), Cancel the order and put the items back in stock
Treat "Fulfilled" As Delivered	Some couriers report "Fulfilled" instead of "Delivered". On treats that as delivered	Off
Book Courier On Accept	Books the shipment with your default courier when you accept an order. Only in By Shipping Zones	Off

Courier updates to customers

Messages sent from your courier's tracking updates. All three are off until you switch them on.
