Before you start
Part of Locations & stock, which is shown when stock tracking is on or your shop has more than one location. Turn on Stock tracking in Shop › Features. If you do not see it there, ask support.

Who can use this
Shop owner, Shop Manager, Shop Product Manager
Every change to a quantity is recorded: orders, cancellations, returns, transfers, imports and edits. The Stock history tab lists them, newest first.
Filter
Location: one location, or All locations.
Reason: one reason, or All reasons. Select Filter; Clear removes the filters.
You can also arrive already filtered: Stock history on a location card, the Stock history link under a product's Stock per location table, Details on a transfer, or a product name in the table itself.

Housekeeping
Opening stock, Correction, Older history (summed)
Opening stock is the quantity a product had when its stock at a location was first recorded. Older history (summed) is one line that stands for older changes folded together.
Download CSV
Choose From and To dates and select Download CSV. The file uses the filters you have set above and downloads straight away.
Rule
Period
Up to one year per file. A longer range answers "Choose up to one year at a time."

The file is not stored in the panel; keep your own copy.

When stock tracking is off
The page shows Stock tracking is off: "Your shop does not track stock, so nothing new is recorded here. The stock history recorded before stays below, read-only." The filters and the CSV download still work.
