Take card payments in UAE dirhams through EPG.
EPG takes card payments on a hosted page.
Go to Shop › Settings › Payment Gateways and select the EPG card to unfold it.
| Field | Required | What to enter |
|---|---|---|
| Base URL | Yes | The EPG API address given to you for your account. |
| Customer | Yes | Your EPG customer ID. |
| Store | Yes | Your EPG store ID. |
| Terminal | Yes | Your EPG terminal ID. |
| Username | Yes | Your EPG API username. |
| Password | Yes | The password of that API user. Write-only. |
Add EPG to the Payment Gateways list at the top of the tab, then select Save Settings. The card shows Switched on.
There is no address to paste into the provider's dashboard: the return address is sent with each payment.
There is no switch. The card reads Sandbox when Base URL is EPG's demo address, and Live otherwise.
Connect with test credentials first, so the card reads Sandbox. Place a test order, choose this method and pay with a test payment from the provider's own documentation. Check that the order arrives in Orders. Then enter your live Base URL and credentials and confirm the pill reads Live.
