What the messages on the Settings and Features pages mean, and what to do when a field is locked, a tab is missing or a change did not save.
The badge Managed by platform marks a setting you may not change. On your tabs it is a field of a feature your plan does not include, for example Enable Wallet or Enable Referral. It reads as off and is not saved. See Locked features and limits, or ask support.
The card shows why instead: "Contact support to change this", a plan badge or Add-on, "Not in your package", or "Turn on Tax first". A card with only a state has nothing to switch. Turn features on explains each one.
A Shop Manager sees no buttons: "Only the shop owner can turn features on or off."

Check what was stored under Change history. See Find a setting and see who changed it.
"No setting matches" appears when nothing fits. Try another word. Search covers only the tabs shown for your shop.
"No settings changes recorded yet. Changes you save from now on appear here." Records older than the number of days shown under the window title are removed.
"This feature is not switched on for your shop. You can turn it on in Settings." The page belongs to a feature that is off. Turn it on under Shop › Features.
