How a picker takes an order, marks items picked by hand or by barcode, and finishes it.
With the picker feature, a staff member with the Picker role collects the items of each order and ticks them off. What happens after the last item depends on Enable Send To Delivery in Picker Settings. While it is on (the default), the order stays in Picked by Picker until the picker sends it to delivery from the Picker app. While it is off, the order is accepted by itself and moves to Preparing Order.
Open a new order and select Pick Order, then confirm Are you sure you want to pick this order? The status becomes Picked by Picker and the order is yours. Other pickers see Already Picked by Another Picker.
A blue banner, Item Picking Progress:, counts the picked items, for example "2 of 5 items picked".
On each product line, select Mark as picked and confirm Mark this item as picked? The line then shows Picked.

A Confirm Pick dialog shows the product and the count, for example 1 → 2 / 3. Select Confirm Pick. Each scan adds one to the picked quantity, so a line with three units needs three scans. Until then it shows Partially Picked. When Barcode Scanner Pick All Items is switched on for your shop, one scan picks the whole line.
When the last item is picked, the banner shows All items picked! Order will move to preparing order status. and the page reloads. The order moves to Preparing Order by itself only while Enable Send To Delivery is off. While it is on, the order stays in Picked by Picker until the picker sends it to delivery from the Picker app, whatever the banner says.
When Enable Order Modification before Delivery is on, the picker sees Modify Order on the order being picked and can change quantities, remove items or use substitutes. See Modify an order and Substitutes.
