Stop a phone number, an e-mail or a customer from paying on delivery, or from ordering at all.
The blocklist stops chosen people from paying on delivery, or from ordering from your shop altogether. It works on the online store, the apps, guest checkout and WhatsApp orders. Numbers are matched however they are typed.
Blocks apply only while Use these controls is ticked on the same page. See COD & risk.
Go to Customers › COD & risk and find the COD blocklist card.
Select Block. You see "Added to the COD blocklist."
| Choice | Effect |
|---|---|
| No cash on delivery | The person can order but must pay another way |
| No orders at all | The person cannot place an order at your shop, with any payment method. They read "This shop cannot accept your order online. Please contact the shop." |
Open the customer with the pencil on their card. In the COD risk panel choose the block, type the reason and select Block this customer. The order page's COD risk panel has a Block this customer link that takes you there.
Columns are Contact, Block, Reason and Added. Use Active and Including removed to switch between current blocks and the full history. An empty list reads "Nobody is blocked."
Select Remove on the row and confirm "Remove this contact from the blocklist?". The entry stays in the history under Including removed, with the date it was removed.
