Book a shipment for an order

Book a courier for an accepted order from its Shipping card, and get the AWB, label and tracking link.

Before you start

Courier shipping must be on for your shop (turn on Courier shipping under Shop › Features, or ask support if that page says to contact support). The card shows once Delivery Area is By Shipping Zones or the shop already has shipments, and the order must be an accepted delivery order.

When you ship by courier, the order page has a Shipping card. Use it to book a parcel with one of your couriers, or to record one you booked elsewhere.

Before you start

The order must be accepted and still open. Before that the card says Accept the order to ship it.
Self-pickup orders show Self-pickup orders are not shipped. Demo orders are never booked.

Open the form
On the order's Shipping card, select Ship if the form is not already open.
Choose the courier
1. Courier lists your active courier accounts. Your default account is marked (default) and preselected.
Check rates (optional)
Check rates appears beside the courier when it quotes prices. It lists the courier's services, cheapest first, with price and delivery days. Services that cannot collect cash are marked no COD. The service you pick is the one booked. These rates are for you only; customers pay your shipping rates.

Check the parcel

2. Weight (kg)	Required. Prefilled from the product weights; a product without one uses your default product weight. If the total is still 0, the courier account's default weight

Check the address
1. Deliver to shows the customer's address. Select Edit to change Name, Phone, Address, House / building, City, State, Postcode or Country (ISO-2) for this parcel. The fields open by themselves when the postcode is missing.
Book
Tick Schedule the courier pickup, shown for couriers that take pickup requests, to have the parcel collected.
1. Select Book shipment. The card then shows the courier, the AWB and the status, with Track and Label buttons when the courier provides them.

What limits the COD amount

Any amount of 0 or more is accepted. It is not capped at the order total, so check it.
0 books a prepaid parcel. An empty field uses the prefilled amount.
DHL Express refuses any COD amount.
After booking, the amount cannot be changed, and the order cannot be modified while a connected courier's shipment is active. Cancel the shipment first. Aramex and DHL Express shipments have no cancel button, so the order stays locked until the parcel is finished.

Enter an AWB for another courier

Choose Other courier (enter the AWB) in Courier when you booked the parcel yourself. An account you saved for another courier shows the same Courier details fields.

AWB / tracking number: required.
Courier: pick a known courier so the tracking link is built for you, or leave Account default.
Courier name (optional).
Tracking link (for "Other courier", with {awb}): a web address in which {awb} is replaced by the tracking number.

Nothing is sent to the courier; you mark the parcel delivered yourself.

Ship an order in several parcels

When the order already has an active shipment, the button reads Ship another parcel. Tick the box that begins Additional parcel at the bottom of the form; without it the booking is refused. Whether the order is delivered at the first parcel or the last is set in the courier delivery rules.
