Who can use this
Shop owner
The Snapchat channel adds a product feed to a catalogue in your Snap organization. Snapchat reads that feed from your store by itself, and your Dynamic Ads use the catalogue. Customers check out on your online store.
The channel is available when your platform has set up Snapchat catalogs. If it has not, the page says "Snapchat catalogs are not set up on this platform yet, so they cannot be connected. Contact support." and the connect button is greyed out.
Open the page
Open the Sales channels menu and select Snapchat.
The Snapchat setup checklist shows the steps.
Continue with Snapchat
Select Continue with Snapchat. On Snapchat's screens, continue with the account that manages your ads and allow access to your organization.
Choose your Snap organization
Pick one under Choose your Snap organization and select Use this organization. With only one, it is chosen for you.
Choose or create the catalogue
Under Choose the catalog, pick a catalogue and select Use this catalog, or select Create a catalog named ….
Snapchat allows one product feed per catalogue. A catalogue that already has a feed of its own cannot be used: "Choose another catalog, or create one."
Your Snapchat user needs the Organization Admin role to manage catalogues.

How updates reach Snapchat
Snapchat does not receive products one by one. The panel rebuilds the feed after your products change, and Snapchat reads it: "Snapchat reads your products from your store every hour; it reviews them within a few hours." Sync now rebuilds the feed and asks Snapchat to read it at once.
Checklist and problems
The Snapchat setup rows follow the steps above, then Make your online store live, Send your products to Snapchat and Syncing runs without errors. One row is only recommended: Give every product its brand.
The page shows Reconnect Snapchat. Snapchat keeps reading your feed every hour, so prices and stock stay current. Until you reconnect, the panel cannot read Snapchat's review of your products, ask it to read the feed at once, or remove the feed when you disconnect.
Disconnect
Disconnecting "stops sending products to Snapchat: they are first marked out of stock, then our product feed is removed. A catalog we created is deleted with its products; a catalog you already had stays."
Select Disconnect and confirm "Disconnect Snapchat?". The page reports one of:
"Snapchat disconnected, and your products were removed from the catalog."
"Snapchat disconnected. Your products were marked out of stock in your catalog and our product feed was removed; delete them in the catalog manager if you no longer need them."
"Snapchat disconnected. Some of your products may stay in the catalog: remove them in the catalog manager."
If it adds "To be sure, also remove this app's access in your Snapchat business settings", do that in Snapchat.
A warning that the product feed file "is stored on one server only" is a platform problem. Contact support.
