Once an account is chosen, the lower part of the Google Merchant Center page shows how the sync is doing and which products need attention. The page reads stored results; opening it does not call Google.
Sync with Google
The card opens with one status line:
Status
Meaning
Syncing normally
Nothing to do
"Syncing is paused on the platform right now…"
The platform paused all syncing. Nothing is lost; it resumes by itself
"A problem between the platform and Google stops syncing for every shop…"
The platform's team has been alerted; it resumes by itself
"Your Google user lost access to this Merchant Center account…"
Ask the account admin to add you again, or reconnect with another Google user
"The product source in Merchant Center was deleted. Click Retry setup to create it again."
Select Retry setup on the Connected card
"Google asked us to slow down for a while. Syncing continues by itself at …"
Wait
Below it: Last sync, Last full sync and Google's review last read.
Sync now "sends every product again where something changed, then reads Google's review". Product changes are also sent by themselves. If you press it again too soon you get: "A sync was started a few minutes ago and is still running. You can start another one in … minutes."

Until the first sync has finished, a card titled Your products are on their way shows instead.
A yellow line below the tiles appears when one cause stops many products, for example a store that is not live: "… products are not sent until this is fixed."
Fix these first
The problems that affect the most products, largest first. Each line has a count that opens the matching list. Fixing one cause fixes it for every product in the group.
Products with problems
Filter with the tabs All problems, Refused by Google, Not sent and Warnings. Each row shows the product, its state on Google, and the problem with links to fix it, such as Edit product, Google categories or Website claim.
Several tries failed. It is sent again when the product changes, or with Sync now
Not approved by Google
Google reviewed the product and disapproved it

Approved, with an issue that limits how often it shows
Google's own verdicts are shown in Google's words. A Google help link opens Google's article where one exists.
After you fix a product
Save the product. The change is sent by itself and the problem disappears after the next sync. A disapproval clears only after Google has reviewed the product again, and the panel has read that review.
