See your main categories and sub-categories, and reach every category action and tool.
Categories are the aisles of your shop. Customers browse them to find products, and each main category can hold sub-categories.
The page has two parts: Main categories, then Sub-categories, each shown with the path to its main category. More cards load as you scroll.
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Demo | A sample category created by the demo store. Removing the demo data removes it |
| Hidden | Customers do not see this category |
| Catalogue | It came from the ready-made catalogue and is locked until you unlock it |
| Empty | It has no products and no sub-categories |
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Edit | Opens the category form. A catalogue category shows Unlock to edit instead |
| Hide / Show | Hides the category from customers, or shows it again |
| Add a sub-category | Starts a new category inside this one |
| Open sub-categories | Lists what is inside |
| View products | Opens the products list filtered to this category |
| Export its products (CSV) | Starts a product export of this category only |
| Add products from the catalogue | For catalogue categories: opens the ready-made catalogue |
| Merge into another category…, Delete… | See Hide, merge or delete categories |
