What a signed-in customer finds in their account — orders, reorder, addresses and profile — and which pages depend on your features.
A signed-in customer has an account area on your store. Its menu is a row of tabs across the top of the account, and it follows the features you turn on. On a phone the row scrolls sideways.
| Menu item | Shown when |
|---|---|
| Overview, Orders, Addresses, Profile, Wishlist | Always |
| Returns | You accept return requests. See Return requests |
| Reviews | Reviews are on. See Reviews |
| Wallet | The wallet is on |
| Gift cards | Gift cards are on. See Gift cards |
| Rewards | Reward points are on |
| Refer a friend | The referral programme is on |
| Stock alerts | Back-in-stock alerts are on. See Wishlist and notify me |
| Privacy | The platform has the privacy page switched on. See Privacy and account deletion |
"Log out" is always at the top of the account, above the tabs.
The overview greets the customer by name and shows recent orders, plus the wallet balance when the wallet is on. Orders lists every order with its date, total and status. A customer with no orders reads "You have not placed any orders yet." with "Start shopping".
Opening an order shows the same page as the tracking link, with the same actions. See Order confirmation and tracking.
An order in the account has a "Buy it again" button, unless it still awaits payment. It puts the items still available back in the cart.
| Customer reads | Meaning |
|---|---|
| "… items added to your cart. Prices are confirmed at checkout." | Today's prices apply, not the old ones |
| "Not available right now:" and the names | Those products are hidden, deleted or sold out |
| "Some items had add-ons or a weight — choose them again on the product page:" | Products with add-ons or sold loose are not added automatically |
| "These items are already in your cart, at the most you can order." | The maximum per order is reached |
You can also add a Buy it again section in the editor. It shows a signed-in customer the products they order often. See Sections every theme has.
Under Addresses a customer adds, edits and deletes delivery addresses and sets one as default. The form has the same fields as checkout, including the map pin. See Address and map.
An address can be saved without a pin, unless your shop requires one. Checkout offers the saved addresses and starts with the default one.
Under Profile a customer changes their name and e-mail.
The account pages have no settings of their own. Each one follows a feature:
