Which payment methods a customer is offered, what happens when they pay online, and how pay-later methods appear.

Which payment methods a customer is offered, what happens when they pay online, and how pay-later methods appear.
The Payment step lists the methods your shop offers that fit this order. The list is worked out again whenever the cart, the address or the wallet choice changes.
Each method you switched on appears with the title from your payment methods.
A method you offer can still be missing for one order:
| Method | Not offered when |
|---|---|
| Tabby, Tamara | Your country, currency or credentials do not allow it, or the order is outside your amount limits |
| Cashfree | Your shop is not in India and your checkout does not accept Indian phone numbers |
| eWay, ADCB, saved-card Stripe | Never on the website. These are for the customer app |
| Cash or card on delivery | A cash on delivery rule refused it. It stays listed, greyed out, with the reason. See Cash on delivery |
| Every online method | It is a demo store, which takes cash or card on delivery only |
When gift cards cover the whole order, the step reads "Your gift cards cover this order — nothing else to pay." Wallet balance does not hide the list: the customer still chooses a method.
The step reads "You will be redirected to complete your payment securely." and the button reads "Pay now".
The order is saved and its stock is held, but it is not confirmed yet.
The customer returns to the order page, which reads "Confirming your payment…" while the payment is checked with the provider. If that takes longer: "Your payment is still being confirmed. You do not need to pay again — we will email you as soon as it clears."
