The messages you can meet on Plan & billing and around the panel, with what each means and what to do.
Messages are grouped by where they appear. "Your session has expired" and "Too many requests" can appear anywhere: reload the page, or wait a minute.

| Billing isn't set up for this shop yet | The shop is not linked to billing. See Plan and billing overview |
| "We can't reach billing right now. Your plan is not affected — please try again in a moment." | The page shows the last plan it knows. Select Try again |
| Message | Cause and fix |

| "Finish or cancel the pending payment above to choose a plan." | A first payment is still open. Use the notice at the top |
| "Your payment is overdue. Pay the open invoice first — you can upgrade after that." | Select Pay now on Your plan |
| "Your plan is set to end. Resume it first, then upgrade." | Select Resume my plan |

| "No payment method is set up for your account yet. Please contact support to pay." | Contact support |
| "Some of your add-ons are not available on that plan. Tick the box to confirm they will be removed, then try again." | Tick I understand these add-ons will be removed |
| "Plans are priced for the country your business is registered in — contact support to confirm your billing country." | Your store's country or currency does not match your billing country. Contact support |
| "The payment did not go through. Nothing was charged — you can try again from Plan & billing." | Try again |
| "That payment could not be cancelled here — it may already be complete. Refresh in a moment." | Reload the page |

| "Choose a plan first — add-ons are added to an active plan." | Choose a plan first |
| "You already have this add-on — change its quantity instead." | Use Change quantity on the row under Your add-ons |
| "Undo the removal first, then change the quantity." | Select Undo on the row |
| "Your shop has" a number of "locations. Delete a location before reducing this add-on." | See Locations |
| "No longer sold — you keep it until it ends" | You keep yours but cannot add more |
These appear only where your platform enforces plans.

| A feature name, then "is not included in your plan. Upgrade your plan (Plan & billing) to use it." | See Locked features and limits |
| "Your plan allows" a number. "Upgrade your plan (Plan & billing) to add more." | You reached a limit. See Locked features and limits |
| "Your plan has ended, so the shop is read-only." | Choose a plan. See The billing banner and ended plans |
| "This shop is suspended. Please contact the shop owner." | The owner contacts support |
Reload Plan & billing and check the payment under Transactions › Payments. If it shows as paid and the plan has not changed, contact support with the invoice number.
