Before you start

Shipping must be enabled for your shop. Turn on Courier shipping in Shop › Features. If you do not see it there, ask support.

Who can use this

Every delivery order can have a tracking page for the customer. It shows the order's status steps and expected delivery, for your own delivery guys as well as for courier parcels. You share its link from the order page.

From the Actions card

Open the menu
On the order page, select Share tracking in Actions.
Copy or send
1. Choose one:
- Copy tracking link copies the link so you can paste it into a message or e-mail.
- Send on WhatsApp opens WhatsApp in a new tab with the customer's number and a ready message. Press send in WhatsApp yourself.

From the Shipping card

Orders with a Shipping card show a row labelled Customer tracking link with Copy and Send on WhatsApp. Before the link exists the row reads Created when you copy or send it; afterwards it shows the link itself.

When the button appears

Share tracking is offered when shipping is enabled for your shop and one of these is true:

the order is a delivery order and your shop delivers locally or ships by courier;
the order already has a tracking link;
the order has an active courier shipment.

It is not offered for incomplete orders, or for self-pickup orders without a link or shipment.

Good to know

The link is created the first time you copy or send it. After that the same link is reused.
Anyone with the link can open the tracking page, so send it only to the customer.
The panel does not send the link by SMS.
Opening the menu does not message the customer. Nothing leaves until you paste or send it.

Troubleshooting

Could not create the tracking link. Try again. The link could not be made. Check your connection and select the option again.
The customer has no phone number. WhatsApp needs a number. Use Copy tracking link and send it another way.
WhatsApp does not open. Your browser blocked the new tab. Allow pop-ups for the panel.
No Share tracking button. Shipping is not enabled for your shop, or the order is a self pickup or incomplete.
