Edit the address or comment of an order

Correct the delivery address and map pin, or the customer's comment, on an open order.

While an order is not delivered and not cancelled, you can fix its address and its comment from the Delivery card on the order page.

Edit the address

Open the dialog
In the Delivery card, select Edit beside Address.
Correct the text
1. Fill in House/Apartment/Flat Number: and Address:. Both are required.
Move the pin
1. Drag the pin on the map, or search for a place with the search box and Search. Latitude: and Longitude: follow the pin. You can also type them.
Save
1. Select save. The page shows Address updated successfully.

Editing only the text changes nothing else. Moving the pin is checked the same way as at checkout:

Outside your delivery area. The change is refused with Currently we are not delivering to the selected location, where your shop enforces its area.
The delivery charge. The charge is worked out again for the new pin. If the new address costs more and the customer has already paid, the old charge is kept. The message says so, and the order's activity notes it.
Shops with several locations. Depending on your routing settings, the order may move to the location that delivers to the new address, or the page tells you another location now covers it and you can move the order from its Fulfilment location card.

Open the dialog
In the Delivery card, select Edit beside Customer comment.
Change the text
Edit Comment/Suggestion:.
Save
Select save. The page shows Order Comments/Suggestion updated successfully.

The comment row is shown when Enable Order Comment is on in Order Settings, or when the order already has a comment.

Both Edit links disappear once the order is delivered or cancelled.
For private remarks that the customer should not see, use Notes and tags instead of the comment.
Under the address, the delivery location can be copied to send to a delivery guy.
