Unlock a catalogue product so you can change its name and description yourself.
Products you picked from the ready-made catalogue stay linked to it. A linked product shows a Catalogue badge with a padlock in its page header, and its name and description are locked.
In the Basics card the Name is greyed out, the description is not shown, and a note says "Name and description come from the master catalogue."
Everything else is yours to change at any time: price, stock, unit, codes, category, images and status.
Open the product from Catalogue › Products.
The product keeps the catalogue's current name, description and image as its own. The Catalogue badge is gone and the Name and Description fields can be edited.
A category picked from the catalogue shows a Catalogue badge and Unlock to edit instead of Edit. See Hide, merge or delete categories.
