In a shop with more than one location, a location button sits in the top bar of the panel. It decides which location the pages you open are filtered to.
Open the switcher
Select the location button in the top bar. Its label is the current choice: All locations or a location's name. On a phone, the same list is in the account menu under Location.
Choose
Under Show pages for, select All locations or one location.
Your choice is remembered for your own sign-in. Other team members keep theirs.
What it filters
The chosen location is applied as the location filter of:
the order list,
the location tiles on the dashboard,
Trends, Sales insights and the other reports, including gross margin, stock value and wastage,
the products list, where it sets the location of the Low stock filter,
You can still change the location filter on a single page; the switcher only sets what a page starts with.
Transfers, requests, replenishment and stocktakes are not filtered by the switcher.
Who has the switcher
The shop owner, Shop Managers, sales managers and Shop Product Managers. It is not shown on focus pages such as store setup.
Staff assigned to some locations
A team member who works at chosen locations only does not get a choice. Their button reads My locations and lists them under You work at. Their pages already show only those locations.
If every location they are assigned to is deactivated, the list says "Your locations are switched off." The owner fixes that under Staff and riders.
It does not change
Where an order is fulfilled from. That is decided by order routing.
Which stock a product page edits. The product page always lists every location you may edit: see Stock per location.
