Teach your app's search the words customers use for your products, and switch search recording on or off.
Both cards are at the bottom of What customers search for. The owner and Shop Managers can use them.
A synonym links a word shoppers type to a word in your product names. Someone who searches the first word then also finds products named with the second.
In Add a synonym, type the word customers use in the first box (1), What shoppers search for. The Searches with no results table above is a good source.
In the second box (2), Word in your product names, type the word your products use.
Select Add (3). The page answers "Synonym saved: searches for "…" also find "…" in your app."
Both words are saved in lower case, with extra spaces removed. Each can be up to 100 characters. Adding a pair that already exists changes nothing.
The table under the form lists your 50 most recent synonyms. This page has no way to edit or remove one. Ask support if you need a synonym removed.

Change the switch and select Save. The page answers "Settings saved." While it is off, new searches are not counted and the report shows a warning.
