Point a button at a page, choose which products a section shows, or connect a section to a slider or an offer from the panel.
These fields connect a section to things in your shop: pages, products, categories, sliders and offers.
A link field first asks for the type.

A typed address must be a URL, a path starting with /, mailto: or tel:.
If the chosen page or category no longer exists, the field warns "Missing page — hidden from shoppers" or "Missing category — hidden from shoppers". Customers do not see that link.

Product sections have a Products from field that decides where their products come from: all products, hand-picked products, a category, a tag or a brand, best sellers, new arrivals, items on sale, trending items, items bought together, related items, or a customer's earlier purchases. Each section offers only the sources that suit it.

Messages such as "Pick at least one product", "Pick a category" and "Choose what guests see" mean the source is not complete yet.
Some slideshow and banner sections can show a slider you manage in the panel instead of slides typed in the editor.
A slider created while the editor is open appears after you reload the editor. With none, the field says "No sliders in this shop yet".
If a chosen slider is later deleted, the field says it "is not one of this shop’s sliders any more" and the section shows nothing until you pick another.
Offer sections, such as Essence's Offer banner and Flash sale rail, can be tied to one of your public offers.
