One Save Settings button saves every tab together. Learn what is checked first and what happens to fields you did not touch.
The Settings page is one form. Save Settings, at the top and at the bottom, saves every tab in one go. There is no Save button per tab.
Some values are checked first. If one check fails, nothing is saved in any tab, and a message names the problem. The page reloads with your stored values. Fix the problem and re-enter the other changes you made.

So an error in Delivery Settings also blocks a change you made in General Settings.

A saved secret shows the placeholder "•••••••• saved" and the note "Saved. Leave blank to keep it; paste a new value to replace it."
When your shop has more than one language, a text customers read, such as Wallet Name, has one box per language. All of them are saved together.
Switches, texts, drop-downs, times and images that belong to a tab you do not see keep their stored value. A field with the Managed by platform badge is disabled, is not sent, and keeps its stored value too.
If you change the weight unit in Delivery Settings and choose to convert, the saved message adds how many products and shipping rates were converted. See Units and product weights.
Each save becomes one record in the change history, listing every field that changed with its old and new value. See Find a setting and see who changed it.
Turn on and Turn off on Shop › Features save at once and write the same settings. They are recorded in the same history, except the Gift cards card, which is recorded in the activity log only.
