Who can use this

Shop owner

Only the shop owner can add or change locations.

Open the form
On Catalogue › Locations & stock, select Add location. To change a location, select Edit on its card.
Describe the location
1. Name, for example Downtown dark store.
2. Code: short and unique, for example DXB-1. A code is suggested. Use letters, digits, - and _ only, with at least one letter. The code names this location's stock column in CSV files: stock_quantity@DXB-1.
3. Priority: lower goes first when two locations could fulfil an order.
Then the Address, Postcode / PIN and Phone.
Place the map pin
1. Put the Map pin on the location. Delivery distance from this location is measured from it.
Set the opening hours
1. Tick This location has its own opening hours to enter opening and closing times for each day, or tick Closed for a day. Without the tick, the location follows your shop's opening hours.
Closed on these dates takes dates as YYYY-MM-DD, separated by commas or new lines. On those days the location takes no pickups or deliveries and your website shows it as closed. Past dates are removed when you save.
Allow pickup
1. Tick Customers can collect orders here if this store hands orders to customers. The tick box is shown when your shop offers self pickup, or when this location already takes pickups. When your shop offers self pickup, customers choose one of the ticked stores at checkout. If none is ticked, orders are collected from your default location.
Save
Select Add location. The page confirms the location was added and asks you to choose the areas it delivers to: see Areas served by a location.

After adding a second location

Products show a Stock per location table. All existing stock stays at your default location until you transfer it. See Stock per location.
The Requests, Replenishment and Coverage map tabs and the location switcher appear.
Decide who works where under Staff and riders.
