Add a free product to qualifying orders while it is in stock.
Free gift adds a product at no charge to orders that qualify. The gift is a real product of your catalogue, so its stock goes down like any sold item.
| Field | Rule |
|---|---|
| Gift product | Required. The picker lists active products without variants |
| Quantity | How many units are free. At least 1 |
| Minimum order | What the customer pays for products, after discounts, must reach this |
| Cart | Result |
|---|---|
| Qualifies, gift not in the cart | A line with the gift is added at price 0. The customer sees "Free gift added:" and the product name |
| Qualifies, gift already in the cart | That many units of it become free. No second line is added |
| Below the minimum | "Add X more to get a free" and the product name |
| Gift out of stock | No gift. The customer is told: "The free gift … is out of stock." |
A placed order keeps its gift line when it is edited, even if the order no longer reaches the minimum. Remove the line yourself if the gift should not go out. An edited order never gains a gift it did not have.
Minimum order here is measured after product and order discounts and the coupon. Minimum order value in card 4 is measured before any discount.
Every offer type shares the same optional cards: products and exclusions, customers, channels and locations, schedule, code, limits and budget and priority and combining.
