Trends is a set of focused reports. Each one answers a single question, shows its top 25 rows with a chart, and can be downloaded or printed.

Open Trends
Select Reports › Trends.
1. Set the period first if you like. The chips are Today, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, This month and Last month. Or enter two dates and select Apply. A range covers at most 366 days; a longer one is shortened and keeps its end date. Without a choice, the page opens on 30 days.
2. Select a tile to open its report. The period you set carries over.
Read the report
1. The row of links at the top switches to another report and keeps the period. All trends goes back to the tiles.
2. Some reports have sort buttons, for example By sales, By units and By orders.
3. The summary tiles are totals for the whole period, not only for the rows shown.
4. The chart draws the top rows.
5. The table lists up to 25 rows. In some reports a name is a link, for example to that customer's orders.
A grey note under the last table says exactly what the report counts. Reports whose sales are order totals also show a line under the summary tiles that defines sales and customers.
Download or print
1. Download CSV saves the report with up to 5,000 rows, plus any extra tables the report has.
2. Print / PDF opens a print view in a new tab and starts your browser's print dialog. Choose "Save as PDF" there to keep a file.

The last tile, Sales insights, opens Sales insights for the same period.

Returns, Shipping, Discount rules and Sales by GST registration are listed only when your shop uses that feature. See Who can see reports.

"Nothing to show for this period. Try a longer range." No matching orders in the dates chosen.
"This report needs the … feature, which is not turned on for your shop." You opened a saved link to a report your shop does not have.
