Take card payments through Telr, on the Telr page or in a frame on your checkout page.
Telr takes card payments. Customers are sent to the Telr payment page unless you switch on payment on your checkout page.
Go to Shop › Settings › Payment Gateways and select the TELR card to unfold it.
| Field | Required | What to enter |
|---|---|---|
| Is Test Mode | No | On: Telr test transactions. |
| Currency | No | The currency Telr charges in. Must equal your shop's currency. |
| StoreId | Yes | Your Telr store ID. |
| Authkey | Yes | The authentication key of that store. Write-only. |
| Country Code | No | The billing country sent to the Telr payment page. |
| Remote API key | No | The Remote API authentication key from Telr Merchant Admin › Integration. Needed for payments on the checkout page. Write-only. |
| Transaction advice secret | No | The secret key of the Transaction advice service. Write-only. |
| Pay on the checkout page | No | On: customers enter their card in a Telr frame on your checkout page, with 3-D Secure. Needs the Remote API key. |
| Saved cards | No | Signed-in customers can keep a card. Ask Telr to switch on stored cards for your store. |
The card shows a Transaction advice URL. Add it in Telr Merchant Admin (Payment Page or Security › Transaction advice, for authorised transactions). Add TELR to the Payment Gateways list at the top of the tab, then select Save Settings. The card shows Switched on.
The Is Test Mode switch decides. On means the provider's test environment; off means live. Telr has no separate sandbox account: you test with your own store in test mode.
Switch Is Test Mode on first, so the card reads Sandbox. Place a test order, choose this method and pay with a test payment from the provider's own documentation. Check that the order arrives in Orders. Then switch Is Test Mode off and confirm the pill reads Live.
The card says: "On-page checkout has not yet been verified with a live account. Contact support if a payment fails." Before you switch it on, ask Telr support to:
