Stop your plan at the end of the paid period, change your mind before then, or turn automatic renewal off and on.
Cancelling does not stop your plan at once. The plan and your add-ons keep working until the end of the period you paid for, and you can resume until that date.
The buttons are on the Your plan card and only the shop owner sees them. They are not shown during a free trial, or on a complimentary or custom plan.
On Shop › Plan & billing, select Cancel plan on the Your plan card.
If you have an unpaid invoice, a warning names it and says "Cancelling voids it."
Choose a reason under Why are you cancelling?. A reason is required.
Anything we could do better? is optional, up to 900 characters.
The page confirms "Your plan is cancelled — everything keeps working until" the date.
The read-only panel and closed store that the dialog describes apply only where your platform enforces billing. For what happens after the end date, see The billing banner and ended plans.
Until the end date, select Resume my plan on the Your plan card. The page confirms "Welcome back — your plan will renew as usual."
After the end date there is nothing to resume. Choose a plan again under Plans.
Auto-renew decides whether your plan renews at the end of each period.
| Button | Result |
|---|---|
| Turn off auto-renew | "Auto-renew is off. Your plan runs until the end of the period you've paid for." The card then reads "Paid until" the date "— auto-renew is off." |
| Turn on auto-renew | "Auto-renew is back on." The card reads "Renews on" the date |
The Auto-renew line in the card's details shows On or Off.
To stop one add-on and keep your plan, remove the add-on instead. See Add-ons.
