See what your other locations have in stock and create a delivery or pickup order for the customer at the counter.

Who can use this

When a product is not on your shelf, the endless aisle lets you sell it from another of your locations. The till creates a normal order that the chosen location delivers or keeps ready for pickup. It is not a till sale: the stock is taken at the location you choose.

Switch it on

The owner opens Point of sale › Registers & settings › Till rules, ticks Endless aisle: show other locations' stock at the till and create delivery or pickup orders from them and selects Save.

The tick box is shown only when your shop has more than one active location. See Locations.

Create the order

Attach the customer
Find the customer by phone first. Without one the till says "Attach the customer first (find them by phone)." See Attach a customer.
Look the product up
Search for the product. Each result now has an Other stores link. Select it to open Order from another store.
Choose the location
The list shows each active location with its free stock, as "… free", or "not counted" for a product without stock tracking. Your own location is marked "this till". Locations that offer pickup are marked "pickup store". Choose one.
Set quantity and delivery
Enter the Quantity. Under Delivery or pickup choose Delivery to the customer or Pickup at that store.
For a delivery, choose one of the customer's saved addresses under Delivery address, or New address and fill in Street, building, area, Latitude and Longitude.

Take or defer the payment

Under Payment choose:

Cash at the till	The cash received, at least the order total
Card at the till	The reference from your card terminal. The platform does not charge the card
Pay on delivery / at pickup	Nothing. Greyed out when your shop does not take cash on delivery

Create the order
Select Create order. The till answers "Order … created at …." and opens the receipt in a new tab.

The order is priced like an online order of that location, with its delivery charge.

What happens next

The chosen location's staff get the usual new-order notice.
Money taken at the till appears under By payment type and in the expected cash of your X-report. The order is not counted in Number of sales.
A return of this order is handled from the Returns page once it is delivered, not at the till.
Each order holds one product. Create another order for a second product.

Messages you may see

Create the order

Attach the customer
