Take card payments through Stripe, on a Stripe page or directly on your checkout page.
Stripe takes card payments in your shop's currency. Customers pay on a Stripe payment page, or on your own checkout page when you switch that on.
Go to Shop › Settings › Payment Gateways and select the Stripe card to unfold it.

For card payments on the checkout page, the card shows a webhook endpoint. Add it in the Stripe dashboard for the events payment_intent.succeeded, payment_intent.payment_failed and payment_intent.processing. Then paste that endpoint's signing secret into Webhook signing secret. Without the secret, a webhook only prompts the platform to re-check the payment with Stripe.
Add STRIPE to the Payment Gateways list at the top of the tab, then select Save Settings. The card shows Switched on.
There is no switch. A test-mode Secret key, recognised by its test prefix, makes the card read Sandbox; any other secret key reads Live.
Connect with test credentials first, so the card reads Sandbox. Place a test order, choose this method and pay with a test payment from the provider's own documentation. Check that the order arrives in Orders. Then replace the test credentials with live ones and confirm the pill reads Live.
With Card payments on the checkout page on, the card lists Website domains registered with Stripe. Domains are registered automatically after you save. Each one shows Registered or Failed; a failed domain is tried again the next time you save these settings.
The Payment Gateways list has STRIPE and STRIPE INTENT. Both use this card's keys. STRIPE is the checkout payment. STRIPE INTENT is the saved-card method of the customer app, charged when you accept the order. See Saved cards.
