Every field of the Web Application Settings tab, and which of them your online store still uses.
Shop › Settings › Web Application Settings is an older settings tab. Some of its fields feed the online store you design in the editor. The others are not read by that store. They are saved with your shop settings and handed to the customer mobile app and the older web app only.
Change a field, then select Save Settings at the top of the settings page.
These three fields hold the same values as the matching fields under Shop › Online Store › Preferences. Saving in one place changes the other.
| Field | What it does on your online store |
|---|---|
| Google Site Verification Code | Adds the Google Search Console verification tag to your pages. You can paste the code or Google's whole tag; only the code inside is used |
| Google Tag Id | Your Google Analytics 4 id. Events are sent to it after the visitor allows analytics cookies |
| Meta Pixel Id | Your Meta pixel id. Events are sent to it after the visitor allows marketing cookies |
An id in the wrong format is ignored by the store. See Analytics events and Preferences: analytics, pixels and cookie consent.
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Hide Logo | While on, the shop logo below is treated as empty everywhere, and the upload is disabled. Default off |
| Logo | The shop logo. Your online store uses it in the header when the theme's own Logo is empty, and in the business details search engines read. The customer app uses it when it has no app logo of its own |
To set the logo of your online store, prefer the theme setting. See Theme settings: brand and store features.
| Field | Used by your online store? | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Title | Yes | A short line about your shop. Themes that show a line under the footer logo use it when their own is empty. It is also a fallback for the home page description that search engines read. It can be translated |
| Web App URL | No | The website link sent with your products when the catalogue is synchronised to WhatsApp |
| Title Color | No. App and older web app only | A colour for the banner title. Default #0D1136 |
| Description | No. App and older web app only | A short text under the banner title |
| Description Color | No. App and older web app only | Colour of that text. Default #77798C |
| Hide Banner | No. App and older web app only | A switch to hide the home banner. Default off |
| Banner Image | No. App and older web app only | A main home banner image |
| Mobile Banner Image | No. App and older web app only | A separate banner image for phones |
| Product Placeholder Image | No. App and older web app only | A picture to show for a product that has none |
| Enable Offer Slider | No. App and older web app only | A switch for the small offer slider. Default on. The app is told it is off while no active slider with the code OFFER has an active slide |
The tab is part of the settings page for every package. The fields are ordinary shop settings that the owner edits.
