Wallet, reward points and referrals
How customers pay with wallet balance, collect and redeem reward points, and share a referral code.

How customers pay with wallet balance, collect and redeem reward points, and share a referral code.
These three features belong to signed-in customers. Each has its own page in the customer account, shown only while the feature is on.
The wallet is store credit. You add to it from the panel, and refunds can go to it.

The balance pays as much of the order as it can. The customer still chooses a payment method in the list, and pays any rest with it.
If the customer starts an online payment and does not finish it, the wallet amount goes back to the wallet.
Guests have no wallet. The wallet is not used when buying a gift card.
To change this: the Customer wallet card in Shop › Features, or Enable Wallet in General Settings. The name shown is Wallet Name. See Wallet as a payment method and Customer wallet.
Customers earn points on orders and turn them into wallet balance.

Redeeming needs the wallet. With the wallet off, the customer reads "Redeeming points is not available at this shop right now."

With the referral programme on, each customer has a page "Refer a friend" in the account. It reads "Share your code — friends get a welcome offer when they order." and shows:
