Arrange categories

Put your categories in the order customers should see them.

Who can use this

Customers see categories in the order you set here. You arrange one level at a time: the main categories, or the sub-categories of one category.

Go to the level you want to arrange
Open Catalogue › Categories for the main categories. For sub-categories, first open the category that holds them.
Start arranging
Select Arrange order. The page title changes to Arrange categories and each category becomes a row.
Move the rows
1. Drag a row by its handle, on the left.
2. Or use the arrows on the right: Move to top, Move up and Move down.
Every change is saved straight away, and Saved shows at the top.
Finish
1. Select Done to go back to the cards.

Good to know

Each row shows the number of products and sub-categories, and a Hidden badge on categories customers do not see.
When a level has more categories than fit on the page, a note says only the first ones are shown. Use the Position number on the category form for the rest.
If the page says "The new order could not be saved. Reload the page and try again.", reload and repeat the last move.
To change which category sits inside which, edit the category, or use the category tree import.
