The Shipping card on an order

Book a courier for an order from its page, and track, print or cancel its parcels.

Before you start

Shipping must be enabled for your shop. Turn on Courier shipping in Shop › Features. If you do not see it there, ask support.

Who can use this

Shop owner, Shop Manager

Shops that ship by courier see a Shipping card on the order page. It lists the order's parcels and holds the form that books a new one. Setting up couriers, zones and rates is done in the Delivery menu; this page covers what you do on one order.

Before you can ship

The order must be accepted. A new order shows Accept the order to ship it.
Self-pickup orders show Self-pickup orders are not shipped.
An order with no parcel shows No shipment yet. Book one below.

Book a shipment

Open the form
1. Select Ship, or Ship another parcel when the order already has one. On an order with no parcel the form is already open.
Choose the courier
1. In Courier, pick one of your courier accounts. Other courier (enter the AWB) records a parcel you booked yourself; enter the AWB / tracking number, and optionally the Courier name (optional) and a tracking link. Check rates asks the chosen courier for prices.
Describe the parcel
1. Under Parcel, enter Weight (kg) and the size in L (cm), W (cm) and H (cm). COD to collect is the cash the courier collects. The hint reads Cash on delivery: the courier collects the payable amount. or Prepaid: nothing to collect.
Check the address
1. Deliver to shows the customer's address. Edit opens Name, Phone, Address, House / building, City, State, Postcode and Country (ISO-2). A missing postcode is flagged in red.
Book
1. Tick Schedule the courier pickup if it is offered and you want the courier to collect, then select Book shipment.

Parcel actions

Each parcel row shows the courier, the AWB, the status and the latest tracking event. The buttons depend on the courier and the parcel's state.

Copy AWB	Copies the tracking number
Track	Opens the courier's tracking page
Label	Opens the shipping label to print
Manifest	Opens the pickup manifest, when the courier gives one
Refresh	Asks the courier for the status now
Retry AWB	Shown when the courier created the shipment without an AWB
Delivered / Returned	For parcels you entered by hand: record that the courier delivered it, or that it came back
Cancel	After you confirm with Cancel shipment, cancels the parcel before the courier has it. The order itself stays as it is

Once the courier has the parcel, the row reads To stop it: request RTO with the courier or To stop it: request RTO in the courier panel. RTO is a return to origin.

How the card affects the order

While a courier shipment is booked, the order cannot be modified. Cancel the shipment first.
A courier's delivery scan marks the order delivered for you. By default this happens when every parcel of the order is delivered.
If you cancel an order whose parcel is still booked or in transit, a warning on the card tells you what to do with the parcel.

If shipping is later switched off for your shop, the card stays on orders that have parcels, marked Read-only.
