Load a ready-made Terms, Contact, Privacy, Delivery and returns or FAQ page, check it, and publish it with one save.
Five pages come with a template: a starting text filled with your shop's name, address, contact details, country and currency, and worded for your region. You read it, adjust it and save.
| Page | Where to start it |
|---|---|
| Terms & Conditions | Shop › Pages, then the edit button on the row. Also from the launch checklist row for terms and contact pages |
| Contact | The same way as terms |
| Privacy policy | The button on the Start from a template card of the Pages list |
| Delivery & returns | The button on the same card |
| FAQ | The button on the same card |
Open it from the table above. A button on the Pages list, and the launch checklist link, load the template straight into the editor when the page is still empty.
The card then reads "Template loaded into the editor — nothing is saved until you press Update."
The first paragraph is a note to you that begins "Template — review before publishing; this is not legal advice." You can leave it; it is removed when you save.
The template is in English. If your shop's default language is another one, the card says so. Translate the text before you save.
Select Update. The page is on your website at once.
A page that is empty, or still holds only its placeholder line, is not on your website. Its editor shows "This page is not on your website yet. Add its content (or start from a template) and save — you can edit it anytime." On the Pages list, a template page in this state has the badge Not written yet; after saving it reads Published.
The optional checklist row for terms and contact pages counts a page as written once it is saved with content. A page saved from a template counts. See Launch checklist.
