Shop owner

An order placed in the app goes through the same pricing and the same checks as any other order of your shop. It arrives in your orders list like the rest.

What happens at checkout

The cart is priced. The platform works out the items, offers, coupon, delivery charge, tax and total from your current settings, and sends the result to the app.
The customer chooses delivery and payment. They pick a saved address or store pickup, a delivery time if you offer slots, and one of your payment methods.
The order is placed. For an online payment the app first starts the payment, then confirms its result before the order is placed.

The order is refused if something changed since the cart was priced: an item sold out, the total changed, the slot filled up, or the order is under your minimum.

Guest checkout

Guest checkout lets a customer order without an account. Three fields on Shop › Settings › Order Settings control it.

After the order, a guest gets a link to that one order. The link expires. Every field is explained in Guest checkout and gift order settings.

Whether your app offers a guest option also depends on how the platform built the app. If it asks every visitor to sign in first, ask support.

Messages the app may show

"Your order is already being placed."	The customer sent the same order twice. The first one is still being placed
"This shop is temporarily unavailable and is not taking new orders."	Your subscription does not allow new orders at the moment. Check Plan & billing
"This payment method is not available."	The checkout did not offer that method for this order. Seen on shops with payment method offers
"insufficient balance"	The customer chose to pay the whole order from the wallet and the balance is too low
"Sorry, no items are available at the moment."	Every item in the cart is out of stock
"Guest checkout is not available for this shop."	Enable Guest Checkout is off
"Please verify your phone number to continue."	Verify Phone With OTP is on and the guest has not confirmed the code
"Too many orders from this phone number. Please try again later."	The guest order limit for one phone number was reached
"This link is invalid or has expired."	A guest opened an old order link
