Every switch on the Permissions tab, which decides what staff may do when an order is modified and whether a Shop Manager can create orders.
The Permissions tab has one group, Order Modification Permissions, with six switches. They apply to everyone on your team who is not the owner. "Shop admin" in the labels means the owner's account.
Open Shop › Settings and select Permissions in the list of tabs. Change a switch, then select Save Settings.

| 1. Can modify price on order modification only by shop admin | Off | On: only the owner can change item prices while modifying an order. For staff the price boxes are read-only, and any changed price, delivery charge, shop charge or adjustment they send is put back to its original value when saved. Off: any staff member who can modify the order can change them. |
| 2. Can add products on order modification only by shop admin | Off | Controls the Add products button on the Modify Order page. See the note below. |

These three switches choose which product lists staff can pick a substitute from. They matter only while Enable Order Substitution is on in Order Settings. See Choose substitutes for an order item.

With all three off, the popup says "No product lists are turned on for substitutes. Turn on Recommended, Related or All products in the shop settings."
