Begin a count of one location - all products, one category, or just the products you scan.
A stocktake compares what is on your shelves with what the panel expects, then corrects the stock in one go. It has three stages: count, review, approve.
The owner opens Catalogue › Stocktakes. Shop Managers and Shop Product Managers open Stock control. The page is titled Stock control. Its tabs are Stocktakes and Stock history. Shops with reports also get Wastage, and people who may see costs get Gross margin and, with stock tracking on, Stock value.

| Counting | Quantities are being entered |
| Waiting for approval | Counting is finished; stock has not changed yet |
| Being applied | The stock is being updated |
| Approved | The stock was corrected |
| Cancelled | Closed without changing stock |
If counts were made before, the page shows Stock tracking is off in place of Start a count: "Your shop does not track stock, so no new count can be started. Counts made before stay listed below, read-only." If no count was ever made, Stocktakes leaves the menu and its address opens the dashboard.
