Launch checklist

The checklist is worked out from your shop's real settings, so anything you finish outside setup counts too. You see it on the Launch step and, once setup is finished, on the dashboard card. Shop › Online Store lists the required rows that are still open.

Required rows

Design your website, Go live and the optional Your own domain appear only when the online store is switched on for your shop.

Rows that depend on your shop

Confirm your email address	On platforms that ask for it. Open the link in the e-mail, or select Resend the email	Yes
Tax number for invoices	While tax is on. The label follows your country, for example "TRN for invoices". Done when the number is saved in the tax settings	Only when your country has a named tax number

Optional rows

Row	What it is for
Terms and contact pages	Customers see these pages at checkout. A template for your country is ready to edit under Shop › Pages. A page saved from the template counts
Order notifications	An e-mail address or WhatsApp number that is told about every new order
Your own domain	Your store already works on its free address; connect a domain when you are ready
Place a test order	Order something yourself to see the whole flow. Demo orders do not count

What blocks going live

• Any required row that is open, except Go live itself.
• Demo data. While a demo store is present, a store that is not yet live cannot be opened: "Remove the demo data before going live." See Remove the demo data.
• Nothing published. Online Store then says "Publish your store from Customize first."
