Let customers spend a balance held at your shop, and decide whether it may go below zero.
Each customer can have a wallet balance at your shop. You add to it by hand or by refunding an order to it, and the customer spends it at checkout. No money moves through a gateway when a wallet pays.
Go to Shop › Settings › General Settings.
The same switch is listed as Customer wallet under Shop › Features.
Wallet Name is the name customers see. The default is "Wallet".
Select Save Settings.
Only signed-in customers have a wallet.
Cash on delivery limits look at what is left to collect after the wallet.
If an order with a wallet part is cancelled, that part is credited back to the wallet automatically.
A negative balance is money the customer owes you. It is added to the total of the customer's next order, less any part their other open orders already carry. This happens even while Enable Wallet is off.

Reward points are not a payment method. Customers convert points into wallet balance and then pay with the wallet. Reward points are switched on separately and depend on your plan.
