A category availability is a time window with the categories that can be ordered during it. The feature is called Shop Time in the menu.

Switch the feature on
Under Shop › Settings, in the general settings, switch on Enable Shop Time. Shop Time then appears in the Catalogue menu.
Add a window
On Catalogue › Shop Time, select Add New Category Availability.
Fill it in
1. Label: a name for you, such as Breakfast.
2. Available From and Available To: the start and end time. The end must be later than the start, so a window cannot run past midnight; use two windows for that.
3. Categories: the categories on sale during the window. Sub-categories are listed under their main category.
4. Excluded Products: products from those categories that should stay off sale during this window.
Save
Select Create Availability.

Choosing main categories and sub-categories

Choosing a main category makes all its sub-categories available.
Choosing only a sub-category makes just that sub-category available. Its main category is included automatically so customers can reach it.

Open Edit and untick Active, then select Update Availability. An inactive window is ignored. Delete removes it after a confirmation.

Windows apply every day; there is no choice of weekdays. Times follow your shop's own clock.

This is separate from your shop's opening hours, which decide when the whole shop takes orders.
