Where the text of your terms, contact and other pages is written, and how the editor styles them.
Terms, privacy, contact, delivery and FAQ pages have two parts. The words are written in the panel. The look comes from one template in the editor, Page, that every content page shares.
Each page is created and edited under Shop › Pages: its name, its web address, its content and its search fields. See Pages and Create or update a page.
The list offers Start from a template for five pages: Terms & Conditions, Contact, Privacy policy, Delivery & returns and FAQ. A template is filled with your shop's details and written for your country.
See Write legal pages from a template for the steps.
In the editor, choose Page in the page picker. Its main section is Page content, which shows the text of whichever page the visitor opened. You can add other sections above or below it, and they appear on every content page.
To give one page a different layout, for example an About page with a banner, make an alternate template and assign it under Online store template on that page's edit form.
There is no separate legal template and no blog template.
A page is reached through a link. Add it to a menu in the editor's Menus tab, usually the footer or legal menu. See Navigation menus.
When a link points to a page that does not exist yet, the editor warns "This page doesn’t exist yet — shoppers won’t see this link. Create it in Panel → Pages." Customers do not see such a link. The publish dialog counts them too. See Publish.
Terms and contact pages is an optional row on the launch checklist. A page saved from a template counts.
