Let a delivery guy switch an order between cash and card on delivery, and record which card terminal took the payment.

Before you start
Your shop delivers with its own drivers. Switching needs both Cash On Delivery and Card On Delivery among your payment methods.

Who can use this
Shop owner, Delivery agent
A customer who chose cash sometimes wants to pay by card at the door, or the other way round. The delivery guy can switch the order's payment method in the app, so your records show how the money really arrived.
Switching between cash and card
The app can change a cash on delivery order to card on delivery, and a card on delivery order to cash on delivery. Orders paid online, by wallet or by any other method cannot be switched.
The switch is refused unless all of these are true:
The delivery guy is the one who accepted the order.
The order is in the status Order Picked Up. It cannot be switched before pickup or after delivery.
For a switch to cash, your cash on delivery rules allow it. A customer on your COD blocklist, an order below your COD minimum or above your maximum, or an order from a location with COD off, stays on card. See COD & risk.
A refused switch answers "Failed" with no reason, so check the four points above.
Only cash counts as cash the agent holds. An order delivered as card on delivery adds nothing to the agent's cash to hand in. See Cash collected by delivery guys.
Card payment terminals
If your agents carry card machines, list the machines so each delivery records which one was used.
Open Delivery Settings
Go to Shop › Settings › Delivery Settings.
List your terminals
Switch on Enable Payment Terminal.
In Payment Terminals, type your terminal numbers separated by commas.
Save
Select Save Settings.
Give each agent a terminal
Open the agent's form under Delivery › Delivery Guys and choose their Card payment terminal. See Add or edit a delivery agent.
What the app does with them
The app reads the list of terminals for the agent's shop, so the agent can name the terminal used when marking an order delivered.
If the agent names none, the terminal on their agent form is used.
The terminal number is saved on the order only while Enable Payment Terminal is on.
With the switch off, the app is told that terminals are not in use and nothing is saved on the order.
